In DinoPark Tycoon, as in the real business world, there are many ways to succeed and may ways to go bankrupt. We encourage you to experiment and to try different strategies. Still, every young tycoon can use some advice on getting started, so we’ve put together a few helpful suggestions.
| Buy one plot of land – Desert. – Build a chain link fence. – Hire one employee (a Tour Guide). – Buy one dinosaur (Hypsilophodon). – Buy 10 units of Fungus and Moss and 50 units of Flower Seeds to grow your own food. – Set Ticket prices at $5.00 – Go to the Office – Open the General Ledger – Select Visits – Adjust ticket prices to $5.00 Click on the Park (dinosaur) button to start your park. Be patient and let money accumulate for awhile. When you’ve reached $12,000, upgrade (or buy) your parking lot. Go to the General Store – Open Concessions – Select Parking lot – Click on Buy If your dinosaur escapes, replace it–and its fence–immediately. | This should get you through the first year without much difficulty. Once you get the hang of things, try different combinations of dinosaurs, concessions, employees, etc., to improve your park’s income. For example, how does ticket price affect attendance?
